The DJI Agras MG-1 octocopter is designed to spray crops with pesticides, fertilizers and herbicides and is over 40 to 60 times more efficient than the manual spraying.
The DJI Agras MG-1 agriculture spraying drone comes with a tank that can hold up to 10 liters of liquid payloads. The powerful propulsion system enables the octocopter to cover an area of 4000-6000 m² in just 10 minutes. The intelligent spraying system automatically adjusts its spray according to the flying speed so that an even spray is always applied.
Reliability and Longevity
The eight-rotor Agras MG-1 comes with a centrifugal cooling system with integrated triple filter system that keeps the dust and the particulate matter from entering. The combination of cooling and filtering increases the lifespan of each motor by up to three times.
The DJI Agras MG-1 crop-spraying agricultural drone has 4 spray nozzles. The nozzles are interchangeable and can be chosen according to the properties of each liquid to optimize atomization. Each nozzle is placed directly below a motor. The downward airflow generated by the octocopter’s propellers accelerates the spray, increasing its reach.
The DJI Agras MG-1 agriculture drone automatically records its current and remembers its past coordinates as it makes its way across the field. In case of interruption of the flight (due to depleted battery or spraying liquid), the flight can be easily resumed from the last point in its memory after changing the battery or refilling its tank.
The design of the DJI Agras MG-1 octocopter is based on a Y-type folding structure. The motor arms can fold inwards making the agriculture drone extremely compact and easy to transport (780mm x 780mm x 482mm when folded vs 1471mm x 1471mm x 482mm when unfolded).
Using a microwave radar and an intelligent flight control system, the DJI Agras MG-1 agriculture drone can scan the ground below in real-time and maintain the right height above crops. Spray density is maintained even as the terrain rises and drops, so that the optimal amount of liquid is applied at all times.
Dedicated Remote Controller
The remote controller of the DJI Agras MG-1 is equipped with the latest Lightbridge 2 transmission system and a special low-energy display panel gives real-time information about the battery level, the amount of liquid in the tank, the spraying speed (L/min), the flying height, the flying speed, etc.
Ease of Use
When flying with the DJI Agras MG-1 octocopter you can choose between three flight modes: Smart mode, Manual Plus Mode and Manual mode, according to terrain and the specific needs of each mission.
