When DJI Spark operates in FaceAware mode, it will rise from your hand to "recognize" you. It will take off and hover in place a few seconds after it is switched on.

Edit and Share
The DJI GO 4 App provides templates and filters to automatically edit the captured images. You can edit what you've captured and share it easily and quickly on social media.
The DJI Sparkle have the following flight modes: QuickShot, ActiveTrack, TapFly, Gesture.
You will be able to capture professional grade videos with just one tap of the mobile device screen.
ROCKET – the drone ascending with camera pointing downward;
DRONIE – the drone flies backward and upward with the camera locked on the subject;
CIRCLE – the drone flies around the subject;
HELIX – the drone flies spiraling upward around the subject.
When you are flying in TapFly mode just envision what you want to shoot and DJI Spark will take it. Touch the screen of your phone using vision technology and the drone will start to fly to the desired location sensing the obstacles on its way. Capture a photo after photo just by tapping the screen of the mobile device.
In this mode DJI Sparkle automatically recognizes objects of different shapes and sizes, and then starts tracking them, depending on what they are and how fast they are moving. Tracking is easier and more reliable.
The selected target can be traced from in front or behind, or even a circle around it.
Track the selected object from a fixed perspective.
You will be able to make selfie by making certain gestures in front the drone.
Put your hands up and wave to the Spark or make a frame with your fingers to take a selfie.
DJI Spark can track the movements of your hand or take off/ land into your palm.
2-axis mechanical gimbal of DJI Spark with UltraSmooth technology significantly reduces shake and rolling shutter effect, providing perfect stabilization of the footage.
All the images shot with DJI Spark are extremely bright and clear with very little color aberration and distortion. The camera of the drone has a wide-angle lens f / 2.6 with 25mm equivalent focal length. Five elements are arranged in a group that fits into a compressed frame.
The small and compact camera of the DJ Spark features a 1 / 2.3" CMOS sensor that allow you to capture video with 1080p and 12 MP stills. Larger pixels means the drone is light-sensitive and records colors precisely.
DJI Spark has two additional shooting modes: Pano and ShallowFocus.
In Pano mode DJI Spark can create horizontal or vertical panoramic shots adjusting its gimbal and heading.
In ShallowFocus mode DJI Spark uses 3D Vision technology to create shallow depth of field.
With its aerodynamic and lightweight design DJI Spark rises in the air with minimal wind resistance. The camera and gimbal are flush with the drone, which increases stability. Powerful propulsion system offers steady flight with a strong winds at up to 50 kph in Sport mode.
Innovative HD Wi-Fi technology allows real-time video transmission with 720p at 500 m.
The flying time of the DJI Spark is 16 minutes with a fully charged battery, which may vary depending on the flying environment.
Switch to Sport Mode to use the full potential of DJI Spark. In this mode the default gimbal mode is FPV so the camera moves with you as you fly. For upgraded FPV take a pair of DJI Goggles and see the world from the eyes of a bird.
For more safety during the flight are available the following flight modes: Flight Autonomy, Return to Home, Flight Protection.
The DJI Spark FlightAutonomy system includes the main camera, Vision Positioning System (VPS), 3D Sensing system, dual-band GPS, high-precision inertial measurement unit, and 24 powerful computing cores. This allows the drones to hover precisely with VPS at up to 30 m, sensing obstacles 5 m away from the drone and landing safely.
Return to Home
Like the other DJI drones, Spark can return to the Home point with sufficient GPS signal. If the battery gets low, the connection is lost, or you press the Return to Home button, the drone will return to the Home point, avoiding obstacles on its way. The downward-facing camera of the drone takes pictures of the area around the Home point and compares them during the RTH procedure to provide a safe landing.
The DJI GEO system provides information on where in-flight safety issues may occur (for example, near airports or stadiums). This will give you the necessary information about the safe flight of DJI Spark.
DJI Spark uses a high energy density LiPo battery for optimal performance. 12 intelligent protection features help ensure safe flight. In addition, Spark's battery calculates remaining flight time and sends to DJI GO 4 app real-time warnings when you need to land the drone.
